Can you limit a dimension's filter list so that only certain items are clickable?

Database: MS SQL Server 2012

Hi,

We want to temporarily limit the months that a user can select from the Time Periods dimension filter (see below). In other words, we only want 201409 and 201410 to be available for them to select. Since the Time Periods dimension has several months in it, is there a way to limit the dimension's filter list, in Analysis, so that only certain months are selectable? Note: We are looking to limit the user's ability; which creating a Favorite Filter would not accomplish.
