OLAP Analysis(BI 4.0) Cell limit

Hi All,

Need your guidance with regards to config for 5 million cells and how to improve the performance for OLAP Analysis tool ? we are using BI 4.0 now.

We have some operational reports which give output of around 5 million cells, to set this up what configuration is required ? All the report are build on SAP Bex Reports;

1) Currently in BICS_DA_RESULT_SET_LIMIT_MAX is set to 3.5 million cells, do i need to set this up to 5 million ?

2) What is the usage for MDAS Setting while compare to above setting?

Because these reports are of huge size and take around 5 to 10 mins to get output, do i need to change any setting at APS server node.

Unfortunately i am not a basis consultant and our IT partners are not so helpful.
