Reporting on A OLAP using Essbase cube

Hi,

I am using SAP BO A OLAP 4.1 as a reporting tool for the essbase cube. Since i am new to this, is there a possible way to display UDA's in A OLAP report as a column. If yes, How?? Is it advisable to use it in report?
