My cube environment is Microsoft SQL Server 2005. We have installed Analysis, edition for OLAP 4.0, SP 4. We didn't install higher service packs due to using 2005 instead of 2008. Although our intention is to upgrade to 2008 in a few months, as well as BI Suite 4.1.
It is important to take you through the steps that lead up to getting the error.
This is the Workspace after connecting to the OLAP Cube. The connection process works okay.
My goal is to put 1 measure in the Workspace as a column. So, next expanded the Regular Sales Measure Group and highlighted 1 measure. Then dragged that 1 measure into the Layout Columns section. It was the only section that it allowed me to drop this measure into. After I did that, it gave me the Error shown below. When clicked on OK, it showed me it had brought in all 149 measures in the columns instead of just the 1 dragged over. into the Layout Columns. Also you can see Measures in the Layout Columns. Has anyone experienced this problem? Am I doing something wrong in the Analysis Tool or is something wrong in the Cube itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
